Investment Opportunities in Armenia and Karabakh

In its effort to promote Armenia's agricultural self-sufficiency, the Armenian Technology Group is seeking to transform several of its programs into profitable business enterprises. ATG assistance has laid the groundwork for several promising opportunities. Completing the transformation from economic development project to self-sustaining business, however, requires private investment.

ATG is particularly enthusiastic about the potential of the wine industry in Nagorno Karabakh. ATG has already established a ten-acre wine grape nursery in Khramort village that has the capacity to produce more than 150,000 young vines a year. In addition, ATG has renovated the Chartar winery in the Martuni district of Karabakh. The region is now in a position to reclaim a winemaking tradition that dates back thousands of years. (Learn more about Karabakh's grape industry.)

To help realize the full potential of agribusiness in Armenia and Karabakh, ATG is seeking committed, far-sighted investors. For more information, contact the ATG office at (559) 224-1000 or by e-mail (info@atgusa.org).
